Weaving Family Literacy throughout Colorful Communities

Thursday, July 17th from 5pm to 7pm, Mrs. Phyllis Harris, the Family and Community Engagement Consultant of Pathfinders Professional Development, will host Weaving Family Literacy throughout Colorful Communities at The Upper Room Early Childhood and Family Literacy Site, 5930 Swope Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri 64130. It will be the first family engagement event of year three of the Culturally Responsive Instruction for English Language Learners Project.

Parent Child Interactive Literacy (PCIL) activities will be offered to help participants create literacy-rich environments for children, literacy resources for parents and educators will be shared, and refreshments will be served. Please view and share the flyer in English and Spanish!
